KSU has been performing on our stage for 30 years now. It is not unjustified that during the annual concert, the crowds of fans always shout: “Ustrzyki is the capital of Bieszczady!”.
It seems that punk rock sounds have always been associated with this town.
KSU is Ustrzyki's punk rock band which started its musical activity in 1978. During almost 40 years of its existence, it recorded 11 official albums and gained a whole mass of fans. Every year, in mid-August, Ustrzyki Dolne holds a free KSU’s concert which gathers crowds of fans from across Poland and abroad.
Eugeniusz “Siczka” Olejarczyk has stayed with KSU from the beginnings of the band’s existence. The other members changed over the years. Currently, the band, with Siczka as the leader, includes: Leszek “Dziaro” Dziarek (drums, choirs, programming), Marcin Jasiewicz (solo guitar), Konrad Oklejewicz (flutes), Eliza Kuźnik (violin), Ewelina Wałęga (keyboard instruments), Maciej Harna (hurdy-gurdy), Anna Oklejewicz (viola), Malwina Oklejewicz (harp, choirs).
Currently, KSU is associated not only with punk rock sounds, but also with such music genres as alternative rock, hard rock, and Bieszczady’s folk.
